Hospitality Review Yearbook 2012

The Hospitality Review NI

35th Special Issue Yearbook

celebrating the companies and the people

who have shaped the Northern Ireland

hospitality industry over the last thirty five years

We are now compiling a very special Yearbook which will be published in January 2012, without doubt the single most important edition of the year, enjoying a year-long shelf life!

Hospitality Review NI has long been serving the business-to-business information needs of the food service, licensing, hospitality and tourism industry in Northern Ireland, in fact in 2012 we celebrate 35 years in the business and we will be featuring comments and contributions from key figures experienced in the local hospitality scene of the past and present and whose opinions are still of interest to readers.

The Trade Directory section makes the Hospitality Review NI Yearbook absolutely essential reading, right throughout the year and gives full company details for participating advertisers and also provides a drinks directory and a useful contacts section. This will provide your customers with a comprehensive and highly authoritative source of buying information, all presented in a clear and logical format.

The cost of taking a Company listing ranges from £250* for a basic listing, £485* for a full listing and £585* for a full listing with a product image. Vat is excluded.

As a company active in this industry, we trust you will agree that Hospitality Review’s Trade Directory 2012 offers a professional platform from which to promote your company and products to a wide readership of existing and potential new customers. We would be grateful if you would complete the company information form below and return it by the closing date Friday 2nd December.

And if you wish to send editorial for inclusion or have a new product launch in prospect please email the editor, louisemurphy@greerpublications.com with your recommendations by the 9th December.

We would like to take this opportunity to personally thank you for your continued support especially under these tough economic times and look forward to working with you again in 2012

Kind regards

The Team at Hospitality Review NI.

Business as usual for Victoria Apartments

Whilst most hotels have been recording lower occupancy rates, during the summer months Victoria Apartments, off the Lisburn Road in Belfast have been, in their own words “very, very busy.” Maintaining occupancy rates of 80-90% this family run business has been changing the face of self-serviced style accommodation.

Getting to the Point

The Point in Ballyhackamore is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year and what better way to mark this milestone than to undergo a complete refurbishment. The bar area is now completely revamped and has a chic yet funky redesign, complete with changing ceiling lights, new upholstery and a sleek new wooden floor. The restaurant will also undergo a makeover before the birthday celebrations really take off in October.

A Taste of Success for Restaurant Victoria

Restaurant Victoria has been a big hit with local foodies since it replaced Bourbon on Great Victoria Street. The stunning interior, combined with delicious dishes are sure to secure Restaurant Victoria as one of Belfast’s must visit eateries. Louise Murphy caught up with proprietor and Chef Raymond McArdle to find out what makes Restaurant Victoria stand out from the crowd.

Mourne Seafood Cooks up a Storm!

The ever-popular Mourne Seafood is expanding thanks to their recently opened upstairs Oyster Bar. Originally designed as a waiting area, the idea extended and is now a laid back and intimated dining area. As well as the Oyster Bar, Mourne Seafood are also associated with the newly launched Belfast Cookery School, where some of the best chefs show mere mortals how to produce amazing meals in a variety of cuisines.
